About the Event
Gift of Giving is one of the Cedar Valley Jaycee’s largest youth-based events that is done in partnership with the Cedar Falls Kiwanis Rough Risers. Approximately 100 children across the Cedar Valley participate each year in this event. It is designed to show them the true “gift of giving” by allowing them to purchase $40.00 worth of holiday presents for their family at Blain’s Farm and Fleet. There is no cost for the participating children or their families.
Each participating child will be paired with a community volunteer to assist them with their shopping. Together, they will ride buses to Blain’s Farm & Fleet to purchase their gifts. All participants will be transported back to the UAW for breakfast, gift wrapping, and pick-up after they finish shopping.
Participants for the Event
Check-in is December 2, 2023 from 6:15-6:30 AM at UAW Hall on Washington Access Rd.
Late arrivals will not have the opportunity to go shopping. Pick up is 9am at UAW Hall.

Please ensure the registration and Waiver is complete by November 30, 2023. A general shopping list can be printed or created to list names of family or friends and gift suggestions - we will help your child shop with $40 for those on their list.
Interested in Volunteering?
Each year, 100 volunteers are needed to help a child shop during the event. Volunteers will assist a child using a wish list created by the child’s parent(s). Volunteering at Gift of Giving is a simple, easy, and very rewarding way to give back during the holiday season!
Time commitment for Volunteers is 5:55am - 9:55am
